Summary

This report details ocular manifestations in a cohort of patients with Clade I mpox in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) between 2007 and 2011. The study also highlights the clinical course of a pediatric patient who presented with mpox and associated ocular complications. The findings underscore the significant impact of mpox on eye health within affected populations. Diagnosis was based on clinical evaluation of mpox cases. Ocular involvement, including conjunctivitis and keratitis, was observed, emphasizing the need for comprehensive ophthalmologic assessment in mpox patients.
